It has been an incredible bee season already this spring and we're only half way through the honey flow!
After catching yet another swarm yesterday, we moved it and three other swarms to the apiary last night and put some newly built stands into service. There's also another swarm in one of the bait hives to move, hopefully this weekend. That brings the total to 40 hives! Still hard to wrap the mind around that.
There is still a swarm hanging 30 feet up in a tree that we can't get and they're too stubborn to move into the empty hives we've offered. That one has been a head scratcher.
